Nevertheless, back in 2016 when we took this project there was no major reference to look

The major challenge that the Sphinx Solutions team encountered while
developing a mobile application for I Paint My Space is a lack of references. With
absolutely no user test and design validation, we started this project from a blank
slate.
Because of the challenge posed by not having a frame of reference, I Paint My
Space needed a partner who not only help them technically but also help them strategize
go-to-market strategy.
Along with this, there were also a number of other important considerations. The new site
would launch with limited features so it needed to be scalable to serve growing users and
their requirements.
When we began our partnership with I Paint My Space, they were still in the process of
building ideation of the project with absolutely no technical experience. Sphinx Solutions
stepped in to act as an extension of their team, providing education on the best technology
available to fulfill their motive, helping them with UX strategy, UI design, development,
and defining their brand’s digital style guide.

The solution we offered was extremely flexible, scalable, and robust. The
paint color visualizer application can help users visualize after color paint of their walls. They just have to
take a photo of the room and walls, which they intend to paint. They can either use the
built-in camera available in the room paint visualizer app or choose a photo from their device.
The end result is a seamless navigation experience that allows both casual browsers as
well as more directed shoppers that are using house painting applications to decide and buy colors of
particular brands. This helps them quickly and easily find the perfect color with
complete brand and color code details for their home furniture needs.
We kicked off the project by gaining an in-depth understanding of demographics,
user personas (their goals, needs, pain points, habits, etc.), brand positioning, and
objectives for the new site. These insights were gathered through workshops we fully
immersed ourselves in the brand and company background.
It is a one-touch paint color visualizing app offering a vivid imagination of a painting
job using the desired color. It greatly helped users to choose the paint that suits their
interior and other decorative.
There are thousands of colors in the color palette. At present, color palettes from leading
brands such as Williams, Wattyl, Valspar, Pascol, Dulux, a nd Taubmans & Resened are
available in the app.
Paintbrush and erase functions allow users to experiment and try coloring until
they are satisfied. The Redo and Undo buttons are useful to compare results after using
different colors. The search function is also a boon that can be utilized to find the
desired color in minutes. Additionally, you can also save colors you like for future use.
